history
As rumor has it, this place was founded back in 1932 by the 'Sozialistische Arbeiterjugend'. They ran the first social simulations refered to as 'Kinder Republic' at this very location. (Since they didn't have any digital computers available at the time, they simply used kids)
The basic idea was to explore how this micro republic would evolve under democratic rules. The kinder republics were highly self organizing, and turned out to be so successful that they vere finally forbidden by the Nazis. (The picture shows Kinderfreund Kurt, with some of his analog computers)
